The chipper operates throughout the year, following established routes. Township will chip branches when they reach your area. Stack at the curb, unbundled, with the cut ends together. Leaves, grass, and yard waste must be placed inside paper compost bags or 32-gallon trash cans with no bags. The Township contractor will collect compost materials on your regular rubbish pick-up day. The program includes picking up and removing all vegetation, yard waste, grass clippings, and leaves. The determined start and stop dates each year depending on the weather and, once determined, are posted on the Public Service webpage. The annual yard waste removal program runs from the beginning of April through the end of the leaf drop season, generally at the beginning or middle of December. Latex paint cans may be placed at the curb or in the trash cart only if the lids are removed, and any leftover paint is completely dry. CarpetingĬarpeting must be rolled, bundled, and tied in four-foot lengths no heavier than 50 pounds each. Cardboard BoxesĬardboard boxes must be flattened and tied together. Wrap glass and sharp objects in heavy newspaper before disposal.
